Heidi Weatherred - LMT
Heidi is a massage therapist with 26 years experience. Her practice is based upon pain relief therapies, including Trigger Point, a moderate Deep Tissue, Swedish, Maternity and Senior Massage. Heidi has practiced with Hospice Care and is familiar with the delicate needs of our eldest citizens and those in need of special care. She is a Reiki Master with over 28 years of experience in teaching and application. Heidi studied hands on Healing in the early 90's and continues to utilize the knowledge gained to help those in need and teach others interested in healing work. She was featured in the 95'and '96 on Carpe Diem Radio, which broadcast in 33 states in 44 cites and Canada, answering questions and interacting with many listeners.
Heidi has added Microcurrent Sessions to her line of practice, using high tech Avazzia Microcurrent products with biofeedback capabilities in her sessions. Microcurrent can be used to address issues like fascia, sore muscle issues, Neuropathy, soft tissue related pain, some lymphatic drainage and many other issues.

Throughout the years I've worked as a Chef and an Auto Mechanic to support my education. Born and raised in Central Texas, I've traveled the world to grow my practice and to learn authentically through those who live and breathe these beautiful traditions.
As a very young person growing up in the '80s and 90s I used breakdancing and capoeira as a way to rise above life's obstacles and eliminate negative imprinting. Both being strong interpretive dances, they carry great energy shifts well known as Qigong.
Feeling a great release through dance and singing brought my path to Qi gong, Kundalini, and the healing power of Chant and Sound. Accompanied with a Food Science Degree I've used those in correlation with Gau Sha, Light and Sound Therapy to bring peace, heightened awareness, and serve those who are in need. Whether it be physical or mental pain, disease or addiction trauma or abuse, or for so much that is unexplained. We Are All One, We Can Heal As One. Mind Body Soul

Zen & Alchemy has opened its doors and hearts to holistic therapists of all kinds. Engendered by a desire to serve both our community at large as well as all kinds of holistic therapists, we have four therapy rooms upstairs and several spaces downstairs for your use.
Our rooms are based on hourly rentals rather than contract labor wages. We believe this gives you a chance to fulfill your personal goals as a therapist, working only for yourself and the clients or patients you serve. We also free you from the headaches and bills associated with brick and mortar type ownership.
At Zen & Alchemy, we want to provide you with an enriching atmosphere full of a variety of therapists, all passionate about helping others achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and wellness.
*If you are a therapist whom the state of Texas requires licensing, we do require both current license and proof of professional insurance. 'Riders' or 'write ins' are usually free from your usual insurance carrier. If your service is not currently associated with insurance or licensing needs (Reiki or energy healing for instance) we do not require either.
